As a dance performer for 25 years, I have a lot of great memories. Regrettably, however, I was rarely able to get quality, if any, videotapes of my performances. Many of the tapes I do have show little more than glowing blobs whirling about the stage, or barely discernable shadows in the darkness. I have acquired some excellent camcorders and editing equipment to produce beautifully clear video with sophisticated titles, transitions, and special effects. I can also use the original audio source (preferably CD) to provide crystal clear Hi-Fi stereo sound without the distraction of audience members talking and coughing and babies crying. I will blend in the applause, and sound from the stage when appropriate, to keep the "live" feel of the production. I can also digitally edit your music for use in the production: remove "pops" from old records and hiss from tapes; fade in and out where needed; make seamless splices; alter the tempo; and record it all to CD for you. With my extensive knowledge of dance and expertise with the camera I produce the ideal dance video: close-ups on solos, pas de deuxs, and small groups, and full-stage view for large groups. For the directors/choreographers I also provide an unedited wide view to preserve the choreography and aid in restaging the production. I can do a fully edited videotape for a flat rate or per DVD fee, or an unedited tape for a flat rate, according to your needs.
